St Jude 5k
A scenic
5K loop around Baker Park, with all proceeds going directly to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. At
St. Jude all patients accepted for treatment are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay. The race
will begin promptly at 8:00 AM on 16 October, 2010 and is open to the general public.
Auxiliary police officers from the City of Frederick will
be there to direct traffic along the route. Music will be playing the entire time to help get you pumped up, and to keep you
pushing all the way through to the finish line, where there will be some delicious refreshments waiting for you! Every runner
and walker will also receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some exciting
prizes!
